Jurie Wessels; Psychometrist, Cape Town
Jurie Wessels holds a Psychology Honours degree and is a Registered Psychometrist with the Health Professions Counsel of South Africa (Practice number PMT 0088315). Jurie completed his Psychology Honours Degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and completed his Bachelors degree at Stellenbosch University. During his undergraduate years, Jurie was chosen to be a coordinator for the Watergarden Community Service Initiative and received a distinction for his dissertation on "The impact of community interventions on the community of Klapmutz." Moreover, Jurie won the annual English Literature prize at Stellenbosch University for a research paper documenting the experiences of homeless people living in Hillbrow, Johannesburg. Jurie completed his formal Psychometry Internship at the Centre for Psychological Services and Career Development (PsyCad) at the University of Johannesburg (UJ).
Jurie Wessels assists in the Psychometry Division at Dr. Mark Tunbridge & Associates. He assists in managing all Psychometry related functions with our team of Clinical, Educational, Counselling and Neuropsychologists. Jurie Wessels also coordinates all workshops and our Community Outreach initiatives.
